Manchester and Cambridge based regenerative medicine company Intercytex was announced the winner of EESCN's first annual award for excellence in the translation of cell-based research into marketable products. The award was presented by former EESCN Chairman Dr Mary Archer to Intercytex CEO Nick Higgins at ERBI's recent Winter Ball at the Duxford Air Museum.

Commenting on the award, Dr Higgins said "It is a great honour to be the first recipient of EESCN's Award for Excellence. We are delighted to have the support and recognition of the Board and Steering Group of EESCN in this demanding yet fascinating field of biomedical science".
